Det handlar om ett ensamt fat (singel cask) som lagrats i tio \u00e5r innan det buteljerats vid 62%. Buteljeringen \u00e4r en del av SMWS:s r\u00f6kiga serie och sl\u00e4pptes den 12:e oktober. Utg\u00e5van begr\u00e4nsad och med endast 234 flaskor tillg\u00e4ngliga. Whiskyn har spenderat sina tio \u00e5r i ett refill bourbon hogshead-fat och \u00e4r varken f\u00e4rgad eller kylfiltrerad. Och den mystiska SMWS-koden, d\u00e5? Ja, den skvallrar om att whiskyn fr\u00e5n b\u00f6rjan kommer fr\u00e5n Islay-destilleriet Bunnahabhain.&nbsp;<span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: &quot;Century Gothic&quot;; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); vertical-align: baseline;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i>F\u00e4rg<\/i>: mycket ljust halmgul<br \/>\n<i>Doft<\/i>: Br\u00f6digt och kryddigt med gurkmeja, &nbsp;pytteliten tandoori n\u00e4stan och balanserad r\u00f6k. Torkad ingef\u00e4ra, r\u00f6kt korv. H\u00e4r finns en l\u00e4tt s\u00e4lta i doften med, lite som saltat sm\u00f6r. &nbsp;Doften p\u00e5minner mig s\u00e5 himla mycket om barndomens klassiska &#8221;prickigkorvsmacka&#8221;! Med tid i glaset blir doften vaxigare och med en skv\u00e4tt vatten kommer lite lime och mentol fram.<br \/>\n<i>Smak<\/i>: Ojojoj, &nbsp;en bra bit mer aggressiv \u00e4n doften, &nbsp;det h\u00e4r! Min spontana tanke \u00e4r att detta k\u00e4nns som en rivig Caol Ila. Riktigt r\u00f6kigt med en del gummi, kummin och anis. Br\u00f6dig maltighet, en del torv men trots dessastora, st\u00f6kiga smaker k\u00e4nns whiskyn relativt &#8221;ren&#8221; i smakprofilen. Efter en skv\u00e4tt vatten blir whiskyn lugnare, s\u00f6tare (florsocker) och mer balanserad. Lite f\u00e4nk\u00e5l anas.<\/p>\n<p><i>Avslut<\/i>: Eftersmaken inleds med en god portion brasr\u00f6kbl\u00e5sr\u00f6r, &nbsp;som sedan \u00f6verg\u00e5r i br\u00e4nt papper, &nbsp;tobak och charkuterier. &nbsp;Lite malt-humle-\u00f6l-k\u00e4nsla mot slutet, &nbsp;fast utan beska. Med vatten blir Eftersmaken lite bittrare med kaffe, br\u00e4nt br\u00f6d och lite \u00f6lbeska. R\u00f6ken sitter fortfarande i frams\u00e4tet, dock.<\/p>\n<p>Snacka om robust vinterv\u00e4rmare, detta! Nope, det \u00e4r inte elegant eller sofistikerat men en typ av whisky jag \u00e4r svag f\u00f6r n\u00e4r v\u00e4dret \u00e4r ruggigt. &nbsp;Dessutom h\u00f6ll den ihop p\u00e5 en fint och balanserat s\u00e4tt med lite vatten, och visade upp en annan, lite finst\u00e4md sida d\u00e5.
